Gilwell Park is a publically accessible site and can be visited from 2 January – 20 December 2019.  Public access is restricted during large scale events during 2019 these will be held on:

  • 11 – 13 January
  • 8-9 June
  • 12-14 July
  • 6 – 8 September
  • 25 – 29 October

The Gilwell Park Heritage Trail

Explore Gilwell Park at your own pace by using the Heritage Trails.  Our children’s and adult guides will lead you round nine of Gilwell Park’s most fascinating heritage locations.  The trails are free to pick up from the White House and Activity Centre receptions.  A donation to support the on-going maintenance of the Heritage Collection is most welcome.

Guided Tours

We are able to offer a limited number of guided tours of Gilwell Park for groups consisting of 5 or more people.  Please contact the heritage team on heritage@scouts.org.uk to enquiry about availability.
